Sound Studio
A small, deliberately curated audio library for sleeping, concentrating and slowing down — built into RAIMZEAL on iOS and Android and playable on the web at Sound Studio.
Several tracks are free on the Foundation plan with no purchase required. On a phone, playback continues while the screen is locked, so a sleep track keeps running after you put the device down.
Sleep & Deep Rest
Continuous, loop-safe soundscapes for falling asleep and staying asleep.
Sleep sounds work by giving your attention somewhere neutral to settle. A steady, unchanging sound raises the floor of your listening environment, so the sudden noises that pull you out of light sleep — a door, a car, a creak — no longer stand out sharply against silence.
Every sleep track in RAIMZEAL is mastered to loop without a seam, so nothing jolts you awake at the join. There are no sudden dynamic swells and no melodic hooks, because both give the brain something to follow rather than something to release.
On phones, playback continues while the screen is locked, which is the whole point of a sleep track. You are not meant to be holding the device when it does its job.
Tracks in this category include:
- Gentle Ocean Waves
- Heavy Rain on Leaves
- Distant Thunder
Focus & Deep Work
Low-distraction beds for study, writing, and long stretches of concentration.
Focus audio is a different problem from sleep audio. You are not trying to switch off — you are trying to hold one thread of attention for longer than your environment would normally allow.
That rules out anything with lyrics, and it mostly rules out music you already know and love, because familiarity invites your attention to follow the track instead of the task. The focus library is built from textures rather than songs: steady, mid-density, and harmonically still.
Use it in blocks rather than all day. Sound is a cue as much as a mask, and a cue only works if it is not permanently switched on.
Tracks in this category include:
- Deep Work Drone
- Library Rain
- Night Study
Meditation & Breathwork
Tonal beds for breath practice, body scans, and sitting meditation.
Meditation tracks are paced to breathing rather than to a beat. The intent is that you stop noticing the audio within the first minute — a meditation track that keeps announcing itself is doing the opposite of its job.
Singing-bowl and drone recordings suit longer sits because their overtones shift slowly, giving the mind something to rest against without giving it something to think about.
Pair these with the Breathing exercises in the app if you want a visual pacer alongside the audio.
Tracks in this category include:
- Tibetan Singing Bowl
- Slow Breath Drone
- Morning Stillness
Calm & Anxiety Relief
Gentle, predictable audio for moments when your nervous system is running hot.
When you are anxious, unpredictability is the enemy. These tracks are deliberately uneventful: no build, no drop, no surprise. Predictability is the active ingredient.
They are short-session tracks by design. If you find yourself needing them constantly, that is information worth taking to a qualified professional rather than a longer playlist.
Tracks in this category include:
- Soft Rain, Closed Window
- Low Tide
- Quiet Room
How to get the most from it
Pick one category and stay with it for a week rather than sampling everything. The value of a sound cue comes from repetition — your brain learns that this particular texture means sleep, or means focus, and starts making the shift faster each time.
Keep the volume lower than feels natural. Audio that masks your environment does not need to dominate it, and lower volumes are safer for overnight listening.
If you are using these for sleep and still waking unrested most nights, treat that as a signal to speak to a doctor. RAIMZEAL is a wellness app, not a medical device, and audio is not a treatment for a sleep disorder.
